Kölbi, the telecommunications subsidiary of the Costa Rican state electricity utility ICE, is launching a new Internet service that promises more speed at a lower cost.

The launch is in reply to Kölbi's main rival, Amnet, which offered a similar package at the beginning og the year.

Costa Rican consumers can choose among Internet services provided by Amnet, Kölbi, Cabletica, Cablevisión and Telecable.
