Sam's Club to be opened in Costa Rica as Wal-Mart widens its reach through the country

Wal-Mart owned Sam's Club will open in San José, Costa Rica, El Financiero reported.

Wal-Mart currently owns three supermarkets which were founded in Costa Rica, as well as seven Supercenters in the country.

The corporation has 199 stores and employs approximately 11,900 people in Costa Rica.
