iPhone 4S sales strong in Costa Rica as all three mobile companies launched simultaneously

Sales of the iPhone 4S in Costa Rica have been strong, after being released in the Central American country last week, mobile companies reported.

Three companies sell the phone in Costa Rica. Mexico's Claro, Spain's Movistar and state owned company Kölbi.

Demand for the iPhone is strong in Costa Rica. A year ago, hundreds of people were paying to bring iPhones from the United States and Europe.
