Panama City: best place for business

Growth in investment and commerce are two of the main reasons why Panama City leads the region in competitiveness, according to the ranking (Spanish only) in the December 2011 edition of America Economia magazine, of the best cities for doing business in Latin America.

Miami heads the list, followed by Sao Paulo and Santiago.

The ranking takes into account social and economic aspects, such as infrastructure and transportation, economic dynamism, and international air connections.


The figures represent the rank of each city of the region, on the Latin American list.
