Restaurants in Panama will have to add a 7 per cent tax to their bills if a tax reform presented last week is passed by legislators.

The same tax will also apply to residential telephone services, as well as to automotive lubricants.
Imports of soda syrups and concentrates will be taxed at 10 per cent.
