Life Vision Properties of Canada plans to invest $15 million this year on construction of a cruise-ship terminal and onshore facilities at Trujillo in northern Honduras.

The 700-meter dock will form a basis for other port constructions, said José Antonio Laínez, the mayor of Trujillo.

According to the mayor, the plan is to attract visits from cruise ships that already ply the Bay Islands of Honduras.
