Big chiefs with the biggest pay packs in Central America

Costa Rica has the Central American country with the best paid business executives, according to a study by the consultancy PwC.
The study looks at the senior executives of the region's companies, including those of the Dominican Republic. In general terms, it says that a top manager earns from about $32,500 to $63,000 a year.
Costa Rican chiefs are the best paid, at about $5,200 a month, while in Guatemala they earn $4,270 on average. Other monthly averages are those of El Salvador, $4,200; Panama, $3,730; Honduras, $3,460; Nicaragua, $2,880, and the Dominican Republic $2,700.
