Enel Green Power expands Costa Rica operations with 50-megawatt hydro project

Construction by Italy’s Enel Green Power has begun on a new hydroelectric plant in Costa Rica.
The new plant, named Chucas, will have an installed capacity of 50 megawatts.
Enel Green Power expects to complete the plant by mid-2013, which will raise the company’s installed capacity in Costa Rica to 105 megawatts.
