Grupo Poma grows in Dominican Republic

Grupo Poma, headquartered in El Salvador, announced it started construction on the Santo Domingo Hotel Real Intercontinental, in the Dominican Republic.

The investment for the new project is $70 million, the firm said.

"Grupo Poma is in the Dominican Republic for the long term, and it is our second hotel here," said company director Ricardo Poma.
