Medical tourism grows in Costa Rica

Visits to foreigners that underwent medical procedures in Costa Rica last year generated $437 million, 5 percent more than in 2018.
According to the Costa Rican central bank, medical tourism revenues, especially those related to dental implants, have registered a sustained growth, since in 2017, 2018 and 2019 there have been increases in relation to each of the preceding years of 9, 16 and 5 percent respectively, reports Business Matters.
