Nicaragua approves long awaited Inter-Oceanic canal

The Government of Nicaragua officially approved the construction of an Inter-Oceanic canal.
President Daniel Ortega said "Nicaragua could be one of the most prosperous countries in the region in five years".
A Hong-Kong based company will be in charge of the project, which also includes two free trade zones, an airport and a dry canal.
