Panama to open bids on “paperless” project to slash red tape

Panama will open bids for the tender in the Panamá sin Papel (Panama without Paper) system that is due to cost $25 million.\

The first stage of the plan is to represent a $12.5 million investment. The lowest bid in the auction will win.\
\
Consumer association regard the project as being positive in terms of reducing long lines and masses of red tape.\
