Passenger traffic at Tocumen grows 9 percent

Passenger traffic at Panama's Tocumen international airport grew 9.6 percent in the first seven months of the year, compared to the same period in 2013, according to official data.
The figure represents more than 4.88 million passengers, or 23,000 per day.
Of the total, 1.7 million were travelling specifically to Panama City, while the remaining amount were using the terminal for connecting flights to the 76 destinations it offers.
