Thursday, February 21, 2019

As part of efforts to shore up the finances of the power utility of Honduras, the ENEE, the distributor, the EEH promised to contribute $358 million between 2017 and 2023.

However, the money invested in 2017 and 2018fell more than $110 million short of target, according to Manitoba Hydro, which was charged with the task of checking contributions to the distribution contracts.

In 2017, the contribution was to have been $97 million, in fact only $40 million was handed over to the ENEE.
