Air Europa seeks to open flights to Colombia

Air Europa is looking to strengthen its presence in Latin America, and wants to start operating flights to Colombia and Mexico.

Both countries are in the airline's plans after it acquires new planes.

Air Europa "has to achieve a strong position in Central and South America in the short term," said the company's president, Juan José Hidalgo.
