Air transport in Panama grows 11 percent

Air transport in Panama grew 11 percent in the first quarter of the year, compared with the same period in 2013, according to government statistics.

Despite the growth, the figure shows a slower rate than last year's 20 percent growth compared with the first quarter in 2012.

Copa Airlines was the busiest carrier, transporting 1.7 million passengers in the period.
