Alliance Boots buys Mexican pharmacy firm

Mexican pharmaceutical company Grupo Casa Saba sold its last remaining business, its pharmacy division, to Britain's Alliance Boots.

The British company agreed to pay $638 million for the Mexican firm's pharmacy division.

"The sale of that business is surprising, as it accounts for 60 percent of the company's revenue," said analyst Dan Wood.
