Almost all Panama cellphones are pre-paid

A report of Panama’s Office of the Comptroller-General reveals that the 89.7 percent of the cell phone lines that operate in the country are prepaid.

The document said that there are 6.9 million active cell phone lines in the country, of which 6.2 million are prepaid.
