AM PM and Walmart are the leaders in openings of supermarkets in Costa Rica

Supermarkets in Costa Rica have increased their investments with new store openings this year. But the only companies that did so were AM PM and Walmart.

This year, growth is expected to continue with several companies planning openings.

AM PM, which concentrates on stores for rapid shopping, is opening eight new stores.
