Thursday, November 18, 2010

Claro, a Salvadoran unit of Mexico’s América Móvil, said that robbery of materials this year was six times as much as in 2009.

Copper, fiber optic and cellphone aerials are preferred by thieves, which have stolen some $4.2 million so far in 2010.

The figures through September show 1,204 cases of theft when there were 184 reported in the same period of last year.
