Another bitter public works dispute in Panama

The multi-billion dollar dispute between Panama and the contractors of the expanded Canal is growing increasingly bitter. But another dispute over public works in the country is now also growing.

The cost of the expansion of the Tocumen airport is now likely to reach $900 million, some $221 million over the winning bid for the project made by Brazil’s Odebrecht.
