Apple blamed for delayed launch of new iPhone to operators in Costa Rica

A little late but for sure the iPhone 4S will was available in Costa Rica at midnight Thursday, 24 hours later then the original announced launch.

The delay is not due to the operators in Costa Rica but to the US manufacturer, Apple that had failed to comply with the requirements of the regulator, Sutel.

Movistar, Claro and ICE all cancelled their Thursday morning launch. Instead, they sat in meetings all day with Apple and Sutel officials to correct the problem.
