As from tomorrow, Panama will be free to leave the OECD’s grey list

Panama is now ready to leave the grey list of fiscal paradises of the Organization for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD).

A double-taxation treaty with France to be signed tomorrow with bring to 12 the number of such accords in order to meet the OECD’s requirements.

Removal from the list is expected to strengthen international banking in Panama, as well as promote more investment and make the country more productive.
