Asia represents the future of trade for Central American nations

Donald Trump’s victory in the US presidential election is being heralded as the return of a new age of proteccionism across the world.

But that is not necessarily so. Three Asian countries -- China, South Korea and Japan -- are aiming to boost trade with Central America. And these are massive markets. Together they account for 23 percent of the world’s GDP.
