Auto sales surge in El Salvador but fall far short of levels reached before crisis
Thursday, January 26, 2012
Last year showed clear signs of a recovery for auto distributors in El Salvador. Sales were up by 28 percent on 2010.
The number of vehicles sold last year was 9,321, up from 7,263 in 2010.
However, the figures fall well short of 2007, the last year before the world dropped into crisis. Then 17,441 cars were sold.
