Avianca aims to revamp operations in Costa Rica

Avianca is getting ready to launch flights from March between Costa Rica and New York, with a stopover in El Salvador, says Álvaro Vargas, the director of Civil Aviation.

This will compensate for this week’s news that the Colombian airline aims to lay off 60 Costa Rican employees.
