AviancaTaca recorded 16 percent sales growth

AviancaTaca, the airline controlled by Colombian and Salvadoran interests, said its sales grew by 16 percent last year, including 11 percent in El Salvador.

Avanca and Taca were merged last year. Integration has been very successful, said Danilo Correa, the regional sales director.

Last year, the group opened up 22 new markets thanks to the unification of the two lines, and it launched 266 new flights.
