Best place to work: Atento El Salvador

The implementation of programs like Attention to the Future and Atento Academy, which provide professional training and tools to employees, are two of the initiatives that have earned Atento of El Salvador the title of Best Multinational to Work For in 2012, according to the Great Place to Work Foundation, in its ranking for Central America and the Caribbean.

"At Atento we emphasize training and citizenship in the countries where we operate," said Alejandro Reynal, CEO of Atento, to which other companies outsource customer service operations.

In second place was the Panamanian subsidiary of Arcos Dorados, the largest operator of McDonald's restaurants in Latin America.

In the list of top multinationals to work for in Latin America, Kimberly Clark was first, followed by Telefonica and Microsoft.


The data refer to the rankings for multinationals in Central American and the Caribbean.
