Bidding process on $60 million for new Panama airport makes progress

Panama’s Civil Aeronautical Authority called for a public meeting on the study, design and construction of the new Enrique A. Jiménez airport in Colón province.
 
More than 10 companies are expected to show interest in what is expected to be the nation’s third international airport.
 
Earlier reports indicated that the cost of the airport is likely to involve some $60 million.
