Thursday, August 21, 2014

Colombia's capital city Bogotá registered a 5.1 percent growth in its gross domestic product in the first quarter this year, compared with the same period last year, the government said.

The figure shows the highest growth for that period since 2012, when it grew 5.3 percent.

The best performing sectors from January to March this year were transport, storage, communications and services.
