Britain buys Panama Papers data

The government of Great Britain reported that it has bought information from an anonymous source that was stolen from the Panama law firm Mossack Fonseca.

British authorities reported that they bought a database which enabled the investigation of 22 business owners for alleged tax evasion. It did not identify the seller or how much was paid.
