The 1990s was a golden age for the cocoa crop of Honduras: some 3.500 producers produced 5.500 metric tons.
But hurricane Mitch and a crop plague ended it all. However, some 1.200 families have come to regenerate the industry. And now they face a bright future in one of the world’s poorest countries.
