Business chiefs ask Honduras to agree with Fund

Business leaders in Honduras have asked their government to sign an agreement with the International Monetary Fund.

The aim is to help reduce the country's fiscal deficit, as well as promoting foreign investment and construct sound economic policies.

The last agreement between Honduras and the Fund ended last March, and the reason a new agreement has yet to be signed is because the Fund is asking Honduras to devalue its currency, the lempira.
