Business comes top for bank credits in El Salvador

Banks in El Salvador gave 4 percent more credits than in 2011, according to the country's financial authorities.

This percentage represents $8.73 billion in credits, a $388 million increase compared to 2011.

The business sector has received the most credit, followed by consumer credit.
