Business leaders to discuss region's economy

Business leaders and private sector representatives from Central America and the Dominican Republic will meet from March 12 to 15 to discuss the region's economy.

Among the topics to be discussed at the meeting, to be held in Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, are the creation of LEAP Zones in the region (legal, economic, administrative and political jurisdictions),as well as advancements in projects by the Central American, Panamanian and Dominican Republic Federation of Private Entities, known as Fedepricap.

Some 150,000 companies in the region are members of the Federation.
