Calm urged amid continued protests in Nicaragua

After 22 days of constant protests and without any date having been fixed for the launch of a national dialogue, opponents of the Nicaraguan government are mulling a national strike.

Specialists, however, point out that the protests have already badly damaged the economy, and matters could become worse, potentially making the damage irreversible.
