Canada eyes Honduran renewable energy

Wednesday, October 22, 2014

Seven Canadian renewable energy companies will visit Honduras next week to learn more about the country's rules and to expand their operations.

The delegation is the first to travel to Honduras after both countries implemented a free trade accord on October 1.

"Canada sees the growth of economic and trade ties as a fundamental part of its commitment with the Americas," said Juan Diego Osorio, director of the Honduran small renewable energy producers' association.
