Canada's Gran Colombia Gold caught in turf war

Months after neo-paramilitary group “Los Urabeños” forced an end to mining activities of Canada’s Gran Colombia Gold in northern Colombia, a newly announced group has vowed to reinstate order.

The tensions between the paramilitary groups are related to Gran Colombia Gold mines in Segovia, one of numerous mining towns in the regions known as Bajo Cauca and East Antioquia.
