Canal gates will arrive in Panama in August

Grupo Unidos por el Canal, the contractor responsible for the design and construction of the Panama Canal's third set of locks, has started in Italy the shipping process of the first four gates.

The gates are expected to arrive to Panama towards the end of August.

The gates will be taken from the factory, in Cimolai, San Giorgio de Nogaro, to the Trieste Port.
