Cargill to invest $83.7 million in Honduras

U.S. food company Cargill is planning to invest $83.7 million in its Honduran operation through 2020.

The company generates 2,500 direct jobs and some 6,000 indirect jobs in the Central American country.

Cargill began operations in Honduras in 1969 after acquiring Alcon.
