Cemex to supply cement for $1.2 billion Reventazón hydro plant in Costa Rica

Mexico’s Cemex announced has been named the primary cement supplier for the first phase of Reventazón hydroelectric plant project in Costa Rica.

The $ 1.2 billion plant will be the largest of its kind in Central America when it reaches completion in 2016.

As the primary supplier, Cemex will provide 50,000 tons of cement for the first phase of this project.
