Central America boosts EPM to $5.3 billion in revenue
Acquisitions in Central America are helping Colombian electricity company EPM to earn revenues of $5.3 billion this year.
EPM bought Grupo Deca II in Guatemala in October of last year for $635 million. Grupo Deca II holds the leading power distributor in Central America, mpresa Eléctrica de Guatemala.
In January of this year, EPM acquired two distribution companies, Electricidad Del Sur en El Salvador, and Elektra Noreste de Panamá.
