Central America ignores world economic woes with robust growth

Amid considerable uncertainty for the future of the world economy, Central America is putting on a very robust performance in terms of economic growth, according to the International Monetary Fund.

The Fund’s World Economic Outlook says that average growth in the Central American nations is expected to be 3.9 percent this year and 4.2 percent next.
