Central America is on a roll

Central America is swimming against the tide in Latin America … with considerable success.

The Central American economy is expected to grow this year by 4.2 percent, while the rest of Latin America is forecast at 0.3 percent. Central America is being boosted by low oil prices, a surge in remittances and growth in tourism.
