Central America takes care to avoid negative impact on economy of Europe's crisis

Central America is taking precautions to avoid any negative impact on the region's economy as a result of the European crisis.

The Central American Monetary Council will meet in Guatemala this month to analyze the global and regional situations.

The aim is to anticipate the effects which the European crisis, and its effect on United States' economy, could have on Central American sectors such as tourism, remittances and trade.
