Central American business chiefs meet Peña Nieto

Representatives from Central America's private sector will hold a meeting with the Mexican president, Enrique Peña Nieto, during a Central American Integration System gathering on February 28.

The main objective of the meeting is for all the countries to benefit from the free trade agreement between Central America and Mexico, which came into effect last year.

Among the topics to discuss are the possibility of joining the two regions' manufacturing powers in order to compete more effectively against Asia for the US market.
