Central American coffee nations report cuts in output

Central America's main coffee-producing countries have reported a drop in their output.
Honduras, the region's largest producer, produced 5.7 percent less than the previous harvest, according to the country's coffee authority, Ihcafé.
Costa Rica reported a 14 percent drop last March, with 164,000 bags of 60 kilograms each. Central America and Mexico produce a fifth of the world's arabica coffee supply.
