Thursday, November 24, 2011

Central American trade this year through August reached $54.2 billion, a 21.8 percent increase on the same period of last year.

The increase was particularly notable in Honduras, Guatemala and El Salvador. Costa Rica, however, continues to have the lion’s share of trade in the region, according to the Economic Secretariat for Central American Integration (SIECA).
