Central America's dwindling tax take

Central America's tax take is falling for the second straight year, with a forecast of 13.7 percent of GDP, the Central American Institute of Fiscal Studies reports.

The decline is being attributed to a variety of factors, including the loss of legitimacy of the region's governments and the fall in the performance of their economies, Efe reports.
