Chinchilla aims to build ties with China and Korea

Laura Chinchilla, the president of Costa Rica, will visit China and South Korea this week in an attempt to build and strengthen business relations.

Chinchilla will look for credit in China to widen a highway that connects the capital of Costa Rica, San José, to the Caribbean port of Limón.

In South Korea, Chinchilla will start talks that would lead to a free trade agreement between the two nations.
